  TESTIMONIALS
"...This is an excellent program. I'm so glad that I stumbled on to this when researching for task management programs. Very low learning curv, quite flexible, and the price is right. Tried at least 20 other programs, either too complicated, too expensive, or poor documentation..."

School Project Checklist:

  • Make sure you, as a student, can fully understand the theme of your project (whether theme was selected or delegated from your lecturer);
  • Make sure your project has a facilitator(s) and you know how to resort to his/her assistance;
  • Usually a facilitator is the same teacher who delegates a project to you, but in a case of complex projects there could be more people engaged;
  • There could be a special schedule regulating time when you can work with your facilitator, so know this schedule beforehand;
  • If it is supposed to be a group project then assemble a project team of your classmates to discuss project plan and allocate the roles;
  • Consider what objectives you need to reach with your project;
  • Define what knowledge or skills the project is supposed to prove in terms of your education;
  • Ask for expertise and directives from your facilitator(s):
    • Ask your facilitator (teacher) to explain the project’s feasibility;
    • Ask your facilitator (teacher) to map out the project baseline;
    • Ask your facilitator (teacher) to give you a direction on early steps of the project;
  • Learn the preset basics and instructions for your kind of project:
    • Formal requirements on project text composition and editing;
    • List of reference materials and recommended books to be used and quoted;
    • Available methodical and tutorial materials;
  • Define if a cooperative procedure for the project is formally regulated or this remains up to you:
    • What roles are predefined for the project;
    • What tasks reside within a competence of each role;
    • What skills are demanded for each role;
  • Create an actual work plan: set a timetable and list all tasks to be accomplished:
    • Discuss the plan with your teammates to get their commitment;
    • Discuss the plan with your facilitator to approve its feasibility;
    • Amend the plan if required and obtain the facilitator’s verification;
  • Make sure your team has all necessary skills to perform the project seamlessly;
  • Define what teachers and how can contribute into your project and ask them if they can help;
  • Define which success criteria will be used to assess the project’s results. Discuss them with your facilitator and project acceptor to know how they are translated into your case;
  • Collect all necessary materials, instructions and books to have them all at hand:
    • Visit school library to pick up some necessary literature;
    • Order some books via the Web or lend them from other classmates;
    • Visit community library if the school library has no necessary materials;
  • Execute and monitor the project, check-off any done points to update progress;
  • Resort to help of your facilitator once you get...
